Jiangsu Central Europe (Asia) Train Opens to a Good Start in the First Quarter, the Number of Trains

Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu China-Europe Express has focused on the major requirements of "higher quality, better efficiency and more safety", driven with full drive and full power, actively served the high-level opening up and the open economic development of the province, and achieved continuous improvement in the quality and efficiency of operation.

Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu Central Europe Express has further strengthened the overall planning of the province, promoted the expansion of the operation and improved the efficiency, and the outbound and return trips increased by 36.8% and 10.5% respectively from January to March. The opening cities in the province also showed a vigorous development trend, and the number of Nanjing, Xuzhou, Suzhou and Lianyungang express services all achieved double-digit growth. Lianyungang and Xuzhou strengthen the linkage of land ports, strengthen market development and cargo source expansion, and compress the operation time of Lianyungang rail intermodal transport channel from the initial 30 hours to the fastest 8 hours to enter the port and complete unloading. Under the strong measures, the number of Lianyungang trains opened in the first quarter increased by 40.1% year-on-year.

Wang Jun, deputy general manager of Lianyungang Zhongha International Logistics Company, said that it will strengthen the information interconnection with Dongmen waterless port, promote the expansion of international freight trains and improve the quality, and constantly enhance the service efficiency of cross-border logistics major channels.

It is worth noting that this year, Jiangsu Railway focuses on the overseas development needs of enterprises in our province, and further promotes the development model of "China-Europe railway + cross-border e-commerce" and "China-Europe Railway + overseas warehouse", proactively docking export enterprises in the province and domestic head logistics enterprises, improving the overseas warehouse layout of countries along the line, and further extending the scope of services to actively provide enterprises with whole-process logistics solutions.

On the morning of April 10, the province's first single railway port "export direct loading" inspection and release supervision was successfully completed in the logistics park of Wuxi West Railway Station. Goods exported from Wuxi can be declared in advance, local inspection and other measures, and all customs formalities can be completed at the "door" and "one station", which greatly facilitates the rapid distribution and efficient entry and exit of foreign trade enterprises.

Zhang Chengzhi, general manager of Wuxi Qianhai cross-border e-commerce Industrial Park, told reporters that the overall customs clearance will save about two days, and the assembly instinct will save about one-third.

From January to March, Jiangsu Central Europe (Asia) train transported goods 52,870 TEU, cage car commercial vehicles exported 197 vehicles, a total of 652 lines, an increase of 24.9%. More than 200 columns were opened for three consecutive months, of which 222 columns were opened in March, a record high in a single month.
